The Coleman Connection

Curious as to why our two partners share the name Coleman, clients and candidates often ask, "Are you sisters?" which invariably leads to the famous Pizza Story.

After a career as a banker and then as a recruiter at another firm, Carol Coleman founded Coleman & Company in 1999.  Suzanne Coleman (no relation), another recruiter based in Larchmont, happened to meet Carol at the local pizza parlor one fateful Friday night when their “Coleman” pizza orders were mixed up—hold the anchovies!  As good recruiters do, they started a conversation and the rest is history.  Suzanne joined Carol as full partner of Coleman and Company in 2003.
