We are actively recruiting for an Associate for a small, entrepreneurial group within the Private Markets group of a large, global asset management firm. This person will support all elements of the investment process spanning origination, strategy analysis, financial analysis, transaction execution, and ongoing portfolio oversight. This role is a critical mid-level hire in this select investment team and provides the potential for substantial exposure and professional development in a high-growth, innovative business. The role requires extensive knowledge of private markets strategies as well as corporate finance and financial modeling expertise. Strong communication skills and presentation skills are required. 2-4 years investment banking or private equity experience required.

Project Director Asset Management, Renewables

A Real Asset Investment Firm has partnered with Coleman & Company to find a Project Director to join their U.S. Asset Management team. They require someone skilled in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and project management. Other requirements include experience in optimizing asset performance and providing commercial due diligence and analysis for acquisitions, including hydro, wind, biomass, and solar projects.

Private Equity Investment Associate, Renewables

The Managing Director of a private Infrastructure Investment Manager, with a mission to expand their renewable energy investment platform in the U.S., engaged Coleman & Company to help grow their Houston investment team. They wanted an Associate skilled in building tax equity financing structures for Wind and Solar Acquisitions who was also experienced in delivering strong stakeholder presentations for approval to Leadership and Senior Investment teams. The challenge was to find someone with enough relevant experience who would also fit in very well with their small team. We found the ideal candidate, a highly personable, extremely smart University of Texas, Austin graduate with a perfect math SAT score and high GPA. .

Private Equity Investment Associate, Power and Midstream

Our client, a private real asset management firm with an active investment team in the power and midstream sectors, asked us to find them a new Associate for their busy team. The challenge was for Coleman to find a hardworking, scrappy, and fun person who was also a really good modeler. This individual needed the ability to develop financial models for closing and bidding on acquisitions. They also needed the skills to develop presentations for business development and the Investment Committee, and also support senior team members in structuring and executing acquisitions. The successful candidate was an Analyst from an investment banking Power/Utilities group who had very strong modeling capabilities as well as experience leading client calls. We found them the "best hire ever" who is very happy in the role and so is the team!

Head of Strategy, Global Independent Solar Power Producer

Our client, a global Solar Independent Power Producer located in the southeastern USA, asked us to find a Head of Strategy to work with the COO to develop the strategic plan for the international organization. The position required someone who could monitor renewable energy market developments to identify trends and opportunities and provide data and projections for the company and the impact on their strategic plans. Also required was the ability to develop business plans for new market entry and value chain extensions in the global solar energy marketplace. Coleman & Company found our client a highly talented candidate from a top global consulting firm who had experience in renewable energy and in steering an organization through the process of setting and achieving strategic objectives.

Market Strategy Analyst, Renewable Energy

A global Independent Power Producer (IPP) asked us to find a talented Research Analyst to support the Head of Strategy. The analyst’s role was to assist on strategic initiatives and work cross-functionally within the organization on various business and strategic initiatives. The position also required the ability to prepare and present reports to senior management and the Board of Directors. The successful candidate had a Master in Environmental Management and Energy and Resource Economics from a top university with prior experience working in the energy markets including community storage and battery storage.

Private Equity Investment Associate, Energy/Midstream

This person would be responsible for investment analysis and due diligence of potential investments in energy and midstream investments and work closely with the asset management team to actively manage their portfolio of assets.
