History

Coleman & Company LLC is a leading source of talent for the financial services industry. Coleman & Company was founded in 1999 by Carol Coleman. After a career as a banker and then as a recruiter at another firm, Carol decided to branch out on her own. Suzanne Coleman (no relation), another financial recruiter based in Larchmont, happened to meet Carol at the local pizza parlor one fateful Friday night when their “Coleman” pizza orders were mixed up. Hold the anchovies, like good recruiters, they started a conversation and the rest is history. Suzanne joined the firm as a full partner in 2003. Over the years, the Coleman firm has grown to include two offices and a team of seven people, including five other recruiters, and a researcher as well as a separate division called The Chatsworth Group to address the administrative and contract staffing needs of our clients.
