Our client, a prestigious financial firm, is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to work in conjunction with the group’s Research and Transactional Management Team. This position is based in New York, NY.

About the Job:

Manage select portfolios within the domestic practice, adhering to the portfolio strategy, philosophy, and risk guidelines established by the group
Assist and lead initiatives in portfolio and risk monitoring processes and modeling infrastructure
Provide support to internal investment professionals and other business partners
Report to the CIO and add and develop a book of UHNW clients for their Wealth Management Practice
Support the portfolio team on a wide range of initiatives around managing investment processes and risk monitoring

Skills & experience required:

A minimum 7 years demonstrated portfolio management experience and a developed book of qualified purchaser clients
Alternative investments, trading, and/or risk management experience
Strong working knowledge of modern techniques relating to financial risk management and statistical process control
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and also work independently
Collaborative, energized by the open exchange of ideas
Responsive to client needs and must have excellent interpersonal skills
Series 7 License
