Our client, a global financial services firm is seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) Supervisor to join their team. The RFP Supervisor will join a highly collaborative team and rapidly growing team responsible for supporting business development efforts by creating and maintaining content for marketing collateral, RFPs and databases. The ideal candidate must have prior experience overseeing, editing and completing RFPs, request for information (“RFI”), and client due diligence questionnaires (“DDQ”) to cultivate new business opportunities and meet client service requirements. This role requires heavy interaction with sales, client service, investment, compliance, and operations groups in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. The position is located in New York and is a high potential growth position.
About the Job:
- Write, edit, produce and critically review high quality RFPs, RFIs and DDQs in coordination with Business Developers and client service managers
- Favorably position strategies based on strong capital markets and investment management knowledge
- Identify, propose and implement process improvements that will create more efficient methods of gathering, sorting, accessing and producing language and data
- Develop strong working relationships with sales, client service, investment, legal, compliance and administration groups to drive new content
- Serve as a backup for the RFP team manager
About You:
- Minimum of ten years in asset management including two years managing a team of RFP writers for institutional clients
- Experience creating new content that requires excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills to articulate the value proposition as it relates to a variety of strategies including Fixed Income and Quantitative Equity strategies
- Strong process management skills and excellent attention to detail. Must have the ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines in a high pressure environment while maintaining quality and integrity of data
- Ability to learn quickly and become a strong individual and team contributor with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Marketing
