Our client, a highly successful 10B alternative asset manager is seeking a Client Service Manager to join their Investor Relations team and help deliver and build long-term business relationships and contribute to a client-centered environment that delivers high-quality services and reporting for high net worth private fund investors. This position is based in New York, NY.
About the Job:
- Manage daily tasks and activities for a team composed of three
- Oversee investor onboarding for private funds (with a concentration on high-net-worth investors) including: processing of subscription documents, data entry and reconciliation, custodian approvals, AML and FATCA compliance, ERISA monitoring and other compliance related objectives, SEC and Blue Sky filings, communication with new investors
- Manage communications to private fund investors, including investment reporting and other communications and oversight of investor web portal
- Ensure quality control and change control and liaise with other internal departments
- Create internal reports
- Oversee launch of investor web portal
- Monitor and oversee CRM software
- Oversee transfers of interest
- Respond to client inquiries and interact with outside parties
- Produce quarterly webcast presentations
About You:
- 3-12 years in Investor Relations, Client Services or other relevant subject area
- Meaningful relevant experience in similar business is strongly desired (private equity/leveraged finance/hedge fund
- Strong understanding of the asset management business
- Strong project skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- SalesLogix and TheNextRound is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills; able to communicate with internal and external business partners at all levels
- Proactive approach, motivated self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a creative approach to problem-solving
